Music Commercial License Information

This page explains the current rights position of MP3 to MIDI. It is not a signed certificate, a paid-plan benefit, or a promise that a recording is cleared for commercial release.

1. Your source recordings

You remain responsible for permission to use the recording, composition, performance, and any voice or other protected material you provide. Converting audio to MIDI does not grant new rights in someone else's music.

2. Converted MIDI and edited projects

You retain any rights you already hold in your own input and creative work. The application does not claim ownership of your recordings or MIDI projects. Whether an output can be released commercially depends on the rights in the source material and your intended use.

3. AI generation and subscriptions

The music-generation backend, account subscriptions, and paid checkout are not connected in this preview. There is no active subscription that issues a commercial-use certificate. Displayed plan information does not create that entitlement.

4. Third-party software

Spotify Basic Pitch and TensorFlow.js are included with their applicable open-source notices. MP3 encoding uses the separately loaded lamejs / LAME library under LGPL-3.0. Its notice, full license texts, corresponding source and replacement instructions describe the library's rights. These software licenses do not clear rights in a user's music.

5. No infringement guarantee

Automatic transcription and editing cannot determine whether a proposed release infringes a third party's rights. No clearance or non-infringement guarantee is made. Obtain any permissions required for your project before publishing or distributing it.
