Slowed and Reverb Generator

Add a song, shape the playback speed, reverb, and bass, then compare the original and processed preview before exporting WAV or MP3.

Add an audio file

Drop MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG, or another browser-readable audio file. Your preview stays local while you shape the effect settings.

What Is a Slowed and Reverb Tool?

A slowed-and-reverb edit changes an existing recording’s playback speed and adds a sense of space. This tool runs the effects locally in your browser, with speed, reverb, bass, original and processed previews, and WAV or MP3 export. The preserve-pitch switch affects preview only; exported audio changes pitch together with speed.

Make a Slowed Edit in Three Steps

Select a clean source, adjust the effect, and compare before downloading.

  1. Choose a Clean Track

Select a supported local recording no longer than three minutes. Use audio you own or have permission to process and keep an untouched copy.

  2. Set the Speed and Space

Start with a preset or adjust speed, reverb, and bass individually. Compare the processed player with the original at a comfortable volume.

  3. Render and Download

Choose WAV for further editing or MP3 when the resulting duration fits the encoder limit. Processing stays local, and an in-progress export can be cancelled.

A Focused Slowed and Reverb Workflow

Control the musical changes without building a full effects chain.

Lower playback speed stretches the recording and normally lowers its pitch. Try a familiar section before committing to a whole edit: a small change can alter the vocal character and groove. The preview-only preserve-pitch option lets you compare that behavior, but it is not applied to exported files.

Keep Reverb and Bass Under Control

Use reverb to add depth without blurring every word and drum hit. Add bass carefully, especially when the source already has a heavy low end. Compare at a normal listening level and reduce an effect when its tail or weight starts hiding the musical idea.

Compare the Original and Processed Audio

The two players let you judge the treatment against the source. Starting one pauses the other, helping avoid an accidental layered playback. Check the opening, a busy section, and the ending so the slower pace and reverb remain useful across the full recording.

Choose WAV or MP3 for the Next Step

WAV keeps the rendered edit practical for further production, while MP3 provides a smaller file. Slowing the source lengthens it, and reverb can add a tail. The MP3 option has a processed-duration limit, so a long slowed edit may need WAV even when the original file was accepted.

Who Uses Slowed and Reverb Edits?

A tempo-and-space treatment can support an edit, rehearsal, or creative experiment.

Slowed and Reverb Questions

Speed, pitch, presets, formats, local processing, and export limits.

What does slowed and reverb mean?

It combines slower playback with an added reverberant space. The edit keeps the source arrangement while changing its pace, pitch behavior, and atmosphere.

How does this tool process the audio?

Select a local file, choose a preset or controls, compare the players, and render a download. Audio effects and exports run locally in the browser rather than through an AI-generation service.

Is slowed and reverb just a tempo change?

No. Playback speed changes timing and usually pitch, while reverb adds a decaying sense of space. Bass boost is a separate tonal adjustment in this tool.

Does slowing audio lower the pitch?

Yes, when pitch changes with playback speed. The preserve-pitch switch can change the browser preview behavior, but exports always link pitch to speed. Review that difference before downloading.

Can I make Nightcore or Daycore-style edits?

The presets include faster and slower directions such as Nightcore and Daycore. You can also adjust the speed manually within the available range and refine reverb or bass.

Which source files can I select?

Use a listed audio format that the browser can decode. The current source limit is three minutes and the file-size limit is 50 MB; a compatible extension alone does not guarantee that damaged audio will load.

Why can a heavy reverb setting sound muddy?

Long or strong reflections overlap later notes and words, especially in a dense mix. Reduce the reverb or bass and compare against the original before adding more processing.

Should I download WAV or MP3?

Choose WAV when you want to keep editing. Choose MP3 for a smaller file when the processed duration fits the roughly three-minute encoder limit. Slower playback and the reverb tail both count toward that duration.

Can I upload the edit to a video platform?

Changing speed or adding reverb does not transfer music rights. Confirm the permissions for the recording and composition, plus the platform’s rules, before publishing an edit.

Is this tool free to use?

The local effect controls, preview, and supported exports work without an AI subscription or generation credits. Browser memory and the displayed duration limits still apply.

What settings should I try first?

Try a modest speed reduction such as 0.85× with a light amount of reverb and little bass boost. Compare a vocal phrase and a busy section, then change one control at a time.

Do I need production experience?

No. Select a short permitted source, try a preset, and compare the two players. Keep the original file and judge the result at a comfortable listening volume.
