Terms of use
Conditions for using MP3 to MIDI.
Last updated: 2026-10-07
The service
MP3 to MIDI provides browser-local audio transcription and MIDI editing. The current conversion and editing features are free and do not require an account or subscription. File size, duration, and note-count limits are shown in the interface.
Your content and rights
You retain your rights in the recordings and MIDI files you provide or create. You are responsible for having permission to process the source recording and underlying composition. Converting another person's music does not grant a copyright license or commercial-use permission.
Do not use this tool to infringe others' rights or violate applicable law.
Accuracy and availability
Automatic transcription can miss notes, add notes, or estimate timing incorrectly. Results are a starting point for editing, not a guarantee of accurate notation or reproduction. Performance and format support depend on your browser and device. The service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation.
Save your work
Working audio and MIDI notes are held in memory. Refreshing or closing the page can discard unsaved work. Download any output you wish to keep.
Open-source components
Transcription uses Spotify's Basic Pitch model and software under the Apache License 2.0, with TensorFlow.js. These components do not imply sponsorship or endorsement by their authors. The application's licensed foundation and third-party notices remain subject to their respective terms.
No payment commitment
This version has no paid checkout, credit purchase, or recurring billing. Any future paid offering would state its price and terms separately before purchase.
